Modeled after central Kentucky's Bourbon Trail, the Kentucky Leaf Trail spans 28 Eastern Kentucky counties to market fall foliage and spring mountain blooms to travelers seeking a scenic, uncrowded alternative to the Great Smoky Mountains.
State Rep. Adam Bowling highlighted private investment and Main Street revitalization across Middlesboro, Pineville, Harlan, and Cumberland, noting that the region's local restaurants, boutiques, and parks are positioned for a major tourism boom.
